Many residents in Fremont County have questions and concerns about the Cotter Uranium Mill and the Lincoln Park Superfund Site.  The community counts on a neutral fact finding group of independent citizens, therefore:

• FCIOC watches Cotter Corporaton's daily operation, regulatory procedures,  license compliance and Superfund responsiblities.  Community volunteer meet to research regulatory documents, environmental studies and inspection reports.
• FCIOC goal is to verify that Cotter Corporation is transparent and responsive to community concerns by understanding the regulations and the industry outside of regulatory jurisdiction.
• FCIOC members set agendas, public meeting topics, research topics and decide funding usage.
